My name is Jodie Robertson Aitken, I am 34 years old, mother to 2 year old twin girls and wife to John, my true soulmate. I am an experienced Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master/Teacher and Holistic Therapist based in Ruskington near Sleaford in Lincolnshire. My own personal journey began after a series of unhappy events from 1999 to 2000 which left my life as I knew it then, completely up side down. I look back on this time in great sadness but with a knowing this experience has made me into the person I am today.
Reiki found me, which you might think quite strange but when you reach a place in your life where you feel everything is disastrous around you, amazing things can happen. As soon as I finished my Reiki Weekend (levels 1 & 2) I started changing, I Had a profound Healing experience and everyone began to see me instead of the unhappy person I had become.
In this last eight years I have gained knowledge in so many areas but still crave to learn something new everyday. I have gone from a stressed out Salon owner to a calm mother of twin girls! What began as a hobbie is now my part time career, Teaching Reiki is my favorite, showing others how Reiki can change their lifes for the better, watching and helping them along their own Reiki way.
I am a qualified Further Education Teacher for over 16’s, Have learnt Angel Techniques with Doreen Virtue, E.F.T, Thermo Auricular Therapy (Ear Candling) Psychic Development with Gordon Smith, Chakra Balancing with Crystals and a long list of specific Reiki Modalities and Healing Systems.
I am studying at the moment a Medicinal Herb course ( will finish it one day, promise), Palmistry and gathering Evidence of Practice towards basic Quantum Touch, which I will be adding to my ever growing list of therapies as soon as I become a practitioner.
The method on which I work is very spiritual. I am currently sitting in a circle at the Spiritual church, developing how to connect, communicate and work with spirit and currently working clairsentient, clairvoyant and a little clairaudient but that could all change next week!
I have also Passed my SNU Assessment as a 1-2-1 demonstrator for the Spiritualist churches in Britain and now gaining experience in platform demonstrating.
Since my Little girls arrived a little of my heartache has been released but never, ever, forgotten……...
